The Real Value of a Creative Network
When you think of a creative community, what comes to mind?
A Facebook group where people drop links and never interact?
A networking event where everyone is trying to sell you something?
A collaboration offer that turns out to be one sided?
I’ve seen my share. And the one thing that’s always missing? Real synergy.
That moment when two creatives connect and suddenly, ideas start flowing. One person’s strength fills the gap in another’s vision. Someone needs a designer, another needs a writer, and just like that an opportunity is created that never would have happened in “in the comfort of your hom”.
That’s the power of a real creative community. And that’s what I’m building.
Why There’s a Cost (And Why It Matters)
I know the first thought some people have: Why isn’t this free?
Because free doesn’t always mean valuable.
I’ve been in free groups where no one interacts. I’ve been to free networking events that felt forced and transactional. And I’ve seen what happens when there’s no intention behind connection.
Charging a fee isn’t so that I can make a dollar off of creatives but more so it’s about creating an environment where people are actively invested in showing up, engaging, and making things happen.
And from day one, my intention has always been to keep this affordable.
I know what it’s like to hit cashflow issues when you’re just trying to grow. That’s why For Creatives LLC will never be priced out of reach. The goal isn’t to create another expensive gatekeeping space it’s to make sure the right people come together and actually connect.
This is more than joining another creative group.
You’re stepping into a space where you can collaborate, find support, and actually build something meaningful.
The Doors That Are Opening (Because of Smart Business Moves)
Now that we’re on the topic of making things happen, here’s something I haven’t shared yet.
When I started For Creatives LLC in 2021, funding wasn’t an option for me. My credit wasn’t where it needed to be, and every opportunity felt just out of reach (insert Latto’s Brokey).
But I decided to switch it up and get intentional.
Focused on fixing my credit
Made strategic business decisions
Got real consistent even when things felt slow
And now? That work is finally paying off.
I more recently connected with someone about funding my business, an option that never would have been possible before. This is happening due to the work I put in last year. My efforts to build my financial foundation, have new doors opening.
And that’s what I want this space to be not just ideas, but action. Not just networking, but momentum.
Who This Is For
Not everyone will get it or get in, and that’s okay.
